A piglet who was not expected to survive after birth has been adopted by Duke, a German Shepherd at Wild Moon Organics in Armstrong.
According to the farm’s Facebook page, Sophie the piglet was the runt of her litter and wasn’t strong enough to fight her siblings for milk.
Duke and Sophie quickly became like father and daughter, sharing the same kennel, while the farmers bottle-fed the baby pig.
