Freezing temperatures make everyday farm chores dang uncomfortable.
But one Surrey farmer has found a silver lining.
Jas Singh, the man behind God’s Little Acre Farm (which exists to donate more than 200,000 lbs of produce to food banks and soup kitchens across the Lower Mainland) has flooded one of his fields for ice skating.
For a small donation, the public is invited to lace up and experience a Canadian winter tradition. All proceeds will go to buying seed for next year’s crop.
For more information, visit the God’s Little Acre Facebook page.
Here’s my story from the field.
